This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of your Customer Terms of Service Agreement (the "Agreement") with Shopfiles Ltd ("Shopfiles", "we", "us", "our"). Terms not defined here have the meanings in the Agreement. We may update this AUP from time to time; material changes take effect upon posting unless a later date is stated.

Enforcement. We may suspend or terminate Services, remove content, or apply technical restrictions if this AUP is breached or if your use risks harm to the Services, our infrastructure, other customers, or third parties. We may report suspected illegal activity to law enforcement or other authorities.

1. Responsible Use and Prohibited Conduct

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a responsible manner. The following activities are not allowed. The examples are illustrative, not exhaustive:

  • Attempting to access accounts, systems, networks, data, or devices without authorization; bypassing or testing security controls without prior written approval.
  • Disrupting or degrading Services, networks, or systems (e.g., denial‑of‑service, traffic floods, abusive resource consumption, amplification attacks).
  • Sending unsolicited or bulk messages; operating unsolicited marketing campaigns; using forged headers or deceptive routing; running open relays.
  • Distributing malware, spyware, or software that covertly collects or transmits data; installing adware without informed, affirmative consent and easy removal.
  • Harvesting identifiers or personal data without consent; phishing, social engineering, or credential stuffing.
  • Hosting, sharing, or linking to content that infringes intellectual property or violates applicable laws or rights.
  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that incites violence or unlawful discrimination; content that materially risks harm to individuals or the public.
  • Operating services that attract persistent abuse complaints without timely remediation.

2. System and Network Integrity

  • Shared resources. On shared systems, you must not consume resources in a way that materially impacts other users. We may throttle, quarantine, or remove data that is corrupted, infected, or poses a risk to stability or security.
  • Compute instances. Bursty or sustained high CPU, I/O, or network usage that degrades neighboring workloads may be limited, rebooted, or suspended. We will attempt to notify you where feasible.
  • Dedicated instances. Dedicated CPU allocations may be consumed fully; however, shared components such as storage backplanes or network ports must not be saturated to the detriment of others.
  • Bandwidth. Monthly transfer limits follow your plan. Additional transfer can be purchased; otherwise, overage controls may apply.
  • We may terminate Services that use resources excessively relative to similarly situated customers, after reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Security Testing

Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or breach security or authentication measures, without our prior written approval. Customers seeking to conduct authorized testing must request permission in advance via [email protected] and follow any conditions we specify.

4. Forums and External Networks

  • Follow the rules and customs of any forums, newsgroups, chat services, or platforms you use through the Services, including rules for commercial postings.
  • Comply with policies of any other networks you access using the Services. Violations may result in immediate suspension.

5. IP Addresses, DNS, and Identity

  • Use only the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses assigned to you by us in connection with the Services.
  • If IPs assigned to your Service are listed on abuse databases (e.g., due to spam or abuse originating from your Service), we may take reasonable action to protect our network, which can include suspension or termination.
  • If you register DNS zones on our managed DNS for domains you do not control, we may modify, transfer, or delete such records upon request of the verified registrant or administrative contact.
  • Do not use false identities or register with false information. Payment methods must be valid and authorized.

6. Remedies and Liability

  • No service credits or refunds are available for interruptions resulting from AUP violations or enforcement actions.
  • We may remove content, suspend, or terminate Services to mitigate risk, comply with law, or respond to abuse complaints.
  • The Services and any enforcement assistance are provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from AUP enforcement, third‑party actions, or your non‑compliance with laws or this AUP.

Promotions such as “Up to 20% discount on all services” are subject to promotional terms and may change without notice unless otherwise stated.
